What is Follistatin-344?
Follistatin-344 is a peptide, a very small protein made in a lab. It is studied for its relationship with a protein called myostatin.
Myostatin is a natural protein that limits how much muscle tissue can grow. Activins are related proteins involved in cell growth and repair.
It comes as a powder in a sealed glass vial, made for research use only.
What researchers study it for
- Myostatin activity. Researchers study how it binds to myostatin and blocks its signal.
- Muscle tissue growth. Studies look at muscle tissue growth in lab and trial models.
- Activin binding. Labs study how it binds to activins, proteins linked to cell growth.
- Cell growth pathways. Researchers study its role in a group of proteins called the TGF-beta family.
What you get
One sealed glass vial of powder. Each vial holds 1 mg of Follistatin-344. Mix it with liquid before use.
How to store it
Keep the sealed vial refrigerated and away from light. Once you mix it with liquid, use it within a few weeks.
