What is GHRP-6?

GHRP-6, or Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6, is a hexapeptide, a peptide made of 6 amino acids. It comes as a powder in a sealed vial.

It is designed to bind to the ghrelin receptor in the pituitary gland, a small gland at the base of the brain.

What researchers study it for

• Growth hormone release. Labs study how it triggers the pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH).
• Release pattern. Studies look at how it produces short bursts of GH, much like the body’s own pattern.
• Appetite signals. Researchers study its effect on hunger signals in lab models.
• Joint tissue. Studies look at how it may affect collagen, a protein found in joints and tendons.

What you get

One sealed glass vial with 5 mg of white powder, to be mixed with 1–3 mL of bacteriostatic water before use.

How to store it
