What is IGF-1 LR3?
IGF-1 LR3 is a peptide version of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1, or IGF-1.
The body makes IGF-1 in the liver when growth hormone (GH) is present, while this version is made in a lab.
LR3 stands for Long R3, a change to the build that gives it a half-life of 20 to 30 hours, up from about 20 minutes.
What researchers study it for
- IGF-1 receptor activation. Labs study how it switches on the IGF-1 receptor.
- Binding protein blocking. Studies look at how it slips past IGF binding proteins.
- Muscle cell counts. Researchers count muscle cells to measure hyperplasia, a rise in the number of cells.
What you get
One sealed glass vial of white powder holding 1 mg of IGF-1 LR3. Mix the powder with liquid before use. Research notes pair it with growth hormone (GH) in a stack.
