What is Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is a lab-made peptide modelled on one of the body’s own hormone signals.

It copies GHRH, or growth hormone releasing hormone, the natural signal that prompts the body to release its own growth hormone (GH).

It is supplied as a dry powder in a sealed glass vial.

What researchers study it for

• Growth hormone release. Labs study how it prompts the release of GH in lab models.
• Belly fat in studies. It was first developed to study visceral fat, meaning fat stored deep inside the belly.
• Fat breakdown, or lipolysis. Studies look at how it affects the breakdown of stored fat.
• IGF-1 levels in studies. Notes say it does not spike IGF-1 levels the way full-length HGH can.

What you get

One sealed vial of dry powder, available in a 2 mg or 5 mg size. The powder is mixed with liquid before use, usually bacteriostatic water, which we sell separately.

How to store it

Keep the sealed vial in a fridge, away from light, and once it has been mixed with liquid, keep it cold and use it within a few weeks.
