What is CJC-1295 (DAC)?

CJC-1295 is a lab-made peptide.

It copies a natural signal called Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH), which tells the pituitary gland to let out growth hormone (GH).

DAC, short for Drug Affinity Complex, makes the peptide last much longer, with a half-life of about 6 to 8 days.

What researchers study it for

• Growth hormone release. Labs study how it binds GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland.
• How DAC extends it. Studies look at how DAC sticks to albumin, a protein in blood.
• Muscle and tissue repair. Researchers study GH and IGF-1 levels linked to repair in lab models.
