What is the SOL-M Hypodermic Needle (25 Gauge, 1 Inch)?
This is a stainless steel needle for lab work. It is a tool, not a compound.
25G is the gauge, which is the number system for needle thickness. The 1 inch figure is the length of the needle.
The tip has a triple bevel. A bevel is the slanted edge cut into the tip. This one is ground on three sides and is lubricated.
What it is used for
- Drawing and injecting liquid. It is used to draw up or inject liquid during lab work.
- Fitting standard syringes. The hub fits standard luer lock and luer slip tips.
- Telling the gauge apart. The hub is colour coded, so the gauge is easy to spot.
- Seeing liquid flow back. The hub is see-through, so flashback can be checked.
What you get
One 25 gauge needle, 1 inch long. It has a stainless steel shaft and a triple-bevel tip. The hub is clear and colour coded. The colour code follows the ISO-6009 standard, which meets OSHA rules.
