What is this needle?

This is a Sol-M hypodermic needle, size 18 gauge, 1.5 inches long. Gauge is just the number system used to show needle thickness.

It is a lab tool, not a compound. It is used to draw up or inject liquids during lab work.

What it is used for

• Drawing liquid. Used to pull liquid from a vial into a syringe.
• Injecting liquid. Used with a syringe to push liquid through the needle.
